This was not happening locally for me, neither when building Lagom on
Linux nor with the SerenityOS toolchain...
error: implicit conversion from ‘float’ to ‘double’ to match other

Being really close to Object.prototype.valueOf() name wise makes this
unnecessarily confusing - while it sometimes serves as the
implementation of a valueOf() function, it's an abstraction which the
spec doesn't have.
Use the appropriate getters to retrieve specific internal slots instead,
most commonly [[FooData]] from the primitive wrapper objects.
For the Object class specifically, use the Value(Object*) ctor instead.
The ECMAScript spec says that Date parsing can support any number of
implementation-defined date formats. So let's support a format commonly
used on the web. And let Core::DateTime do the heavy lifting. :^)
We don't have these yet as our Date implementation doesn't use the time
value algorithms and AOs from the spec, but Temporal will need these in
various contexts.
This is Abstract Operation is required for the majority of
InstantConstructor's and InstantPrototype's methods.
The implementation is not entirely complete, (specifically 2 of the
underlying required abstract operations, ParseTemporalTimeZoneString
and ParseISODateTime are missing the required lexing, and as such are
TODO()-ed) but the majority of it is done.
Since theres no way to drop the arguments before the call to the
constructor (or to signal to the constructor that it was not called
directly), we simply reuse the code for the no arguments provided
special case. (And to prevent code duplication, the code was extracted
into the separate static function Date::now(GlobalObject&).
