Values that contain percentages require special treatment in various
parts of layout. Previously we had no way of peeking into calc() values
to see if their expression contains one or more percentages. That's the
bulk of what we're adding here.
This partially adds serialization code for
`CSSFontFaceRule::serialized()` to spec. This is only partially
implemented as some parts of the `@font-face` rule are not implemented
yet.
Often in the spec they talk about intrinsic_track_sizes and this way can
have a clearer way of checking if a GridTrackSize is indeed an
"intrinsic track size".
Makes it more convenient to create auto GridTrackSizes. I think having
an auto GridTrackSize be defined by an auto Length value kind of
confusing, and this at least helps when creating one.
To follow spec more closely, only set the has_span value if there is a
number immediately following, like "span 2". Otherwise the span value
should be ignored.
Use float instead of int for the GridTrackSize length value as
FlexibleLengths can be "1fr" as well as ".49fr" in grid-track-row
and grid-track-column values.
Let's make 16px the default font size instead of 10px. This makes our
layout results match those of other engines in many more cases.
Also make the h1-h6 element styles use relative (em) font sizes, also
matching other browsers.
Instead of hard-coding the names of system fonts to use for the CSS
generic fonts (like "sans-serif", "monospace", etc.) we now call out
to a Platform::FontPlugin and ask for the generic names.
Unlike ensure_web_prototype<T>(), the cached version doesn't require the
prototype type to be fully formed, so we can use it without including
the FooPrototype.h header. It's also a bit less verbose. :^)
This is a monster patch that turns all EventTargets into GC-allocated
PlatformObjects. Their C++ wrapper classes are removed, and the LibJS
garbage collector is now responsible for their lifetimes.
There's a fair amount of hacks and band-aids in this patch, and we'll
have a lot of cleanup to do after this.
This patch moves the following things to being GC-allocated:
- Bindings::CallbackType
- HTML::EventHandler
- DOM::IDLEventListener
- DOM::DOMEventListener
- DOM::NodeFilter
Note that we only use PlatformObject for things that might be exposed
to web content. Anything that is only used internally inherits directly
from JS::Cell instead, making them a bit more lightweight.
This commit fixes a bug found when passing exotic values in the
grid-template-columns (or grid-template-rows) which are not yet
supported.
The bug seems to have been something like:
grid-template-columns: 0 minmax(0, calc(10px - var(--some-color)));
Add functionality to begin parsing grid-template-columns and
grid-template-rows. There are still things to be added, like parsing
functions, but I would say a couple of the major points are already
adressed like length, percentage, and flexible-length.
Similar to create() in LibJS, wrap() et al. are on a low enough level to
warrant passing a Realm directly instead of relying on the current realm
from the VM, as a wrapper may need to be allocated while no JS is being
executed.
The only accepted syntax for these seems to be
<color> <length percentage> <length percentage>, no other order.
But that's just gathered from looking at other browsers as though
these are supported by all major browsers, they don't appear in
the W3C spec.
This commit moves both the ImageStyleValue and LinearGradientStyleValue
to a common base class of AbstractImageStyleValue. This abstracts
getting the natural_width/height, loading/resolving, and painting
the image.
Now for 'free' you get:
- Linear gradients working with the various background sizing/repeat
properties.
- Linear gradients working as list-markers :^) -- best feature ever!
P.s. This commit is a little large as it's tricky to make this change
incrementally without breaking things.
Previously the clip rect was not relative to the top/left egdes
of the element, which lead to it being positioned incorrectly.
This fixes the clip-rect-auto-004 and clip-rect-auto-005 web
platform tests.
