Previously the VirtualConsole::on_tty_write() method would return an
incorrect value when an error had occurred. This prompted me to
update the TTY subsystem to use KResultOr<size_t> everywhere.
libiconv and gettext have a circular dependency. In an ideal world we'd
build libiconv without gettext support first, then gettext and finally
libiconv again with gettext support.
However, if the libiconv port detects gettext on the host system while
the gettext port hasn't been built yet things break.
This disables gettext support for the libiconv port for now.
This way we don't have to allocate this at runtime. I'm intentionally
not using static constexpr here because that would put the variable
into the .rodata segment and would therefore increase the binary by
4kB.
The old code also failed to free() the buffer in the destructor, however
that wasn't much of an issue because the Mixer object exists throughout
the program's entire lifetime.
Previously `open_page` was called multiple times when opening the
application, once for the actual page, but also in
`tree_view.on_selection_change`. At startup there is no valid selection
yet, which caused an empty page to be loaded. Prevent this by early
returning if the `path` is null.
When REGEX_DEBUG is enabled, LibRegex dumps a table of information
regarding the state of the regex bytecode execution. The Compare opcode
manipulates state.string_position directly, so the string_position value
cannot be used to display where the comparison started; therefore, this
patch introduces a new variable to keep track of where we were before
the comparison happened.
This patch adds a GUI::TabWidget to the main UI and allows having
multiple images open at the same time.
Some of the changes here are a bit hackish and mechanical and there's
still code around that needs more work to fit better in the new world.
One nice side-effect of this change is that ImageEditor now always
has one Image associated with it, and it never changes.
All usages of AK::InlineLinkedList have been converted to
AK::IntrusiveList. So it's time to retire our old friend.
Note: The empty white space change in AK/CMakeLists.txt is to
force CMake to re-glob the header files in the AK directory so
incremental build will work when folks git pull this change locally.
Otherwise they'll get errors, because CMake will attempt to install
a file which no longer exists.
Note that there are a few minor differences between the InlineLinekdList
and IntrusiveList API, so this isn't just a pure data structure change.
- first()/last() instead of head()/tail()
- There is no need for a for_each(..) implementation, as it already
exposes the ability to do range based for loops.
The insert_before method on AK::InlineLinkedList is used, so in order to
achieve feature parity, we need to implement it for AK::IntrusiveList as
well.
This is no longer true, I'm not sure where this got fixed, but I can
successfully connect via IP without specifying a port number using
the latest HEAD of master.
More specifically: cleanupSome, register & unregister.
FinalizationRegistery.prototype.cleanupSome is actually still a stage 2
proposal, but since test262 test cases already exist for it, i decided
to go for it :)
Previously, empty files with no identifiable file type extension would
show up as `text/plain`. This fixes it up to show empty files as what
they really are - full of nothing.
